The International Federation for Produce Standards (IFPS) is composed of produce associations from around the globe. The group provides an international forum to address issues which require international harmonization or standardization for the produce sectors and creates the first incorporated body constituted of national organizations providing direct representation of their respective countries’ constituents.
This site provides free Web access for all Price-Look Up (PLU) codes for fresh fruits and vegetables sold in random-weight/bulk in produce departments.
Standardized Universal Product Codes (UPCs) for fresh fruits and vegetables are also available on a subscription basis through the Produce Marketing Association (PMA) Web site.
